Private collectors, corporations, and individuals use the Midwest Art Conservation Center (MACC).
MACC’s professionally trained and highly-skilled conservators provide high-quality conservation treatments that add and ensure lasting value for paintings, objects, textiles and works on paper. The AIC Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice govern all of MACC’s conservation treatments.
MACC conservators can attend to all deterioration and appearance issues that affect the entire range of antiques, family heirlooms and fine art. MACC staff can address damage caused by accidents, inherent material problems, excessive light exposure, poor storage, and previous repairs. MACC conservators also advise clients on the best exhibition and storage methods for the future preservation of their collections.
MACC can also work with insurance companies and other second parties to ensure clients the best possible results after accidents.
Contact MACC at 612-870-3120 or info@preserveart.org to schedule an examination or to learn more about our services.
MACC is located inside the Minneapolis Institute of Arts with its own entrance and loading dock. Works can be delivered by the owner or MACC can assist in arranging delivery by shipment. MACC conservators can also do examinations and treatments on-site in private residences and corporate offices.
