Alderson Internship Grant Program
Deadline: December 12, 2013
The Alderson Internship Grants Program assists smaller institutional members (those with annual operating budgets less than $250,000) who wish to hire a summer intern.  The host must have a clear idea about the proposed internship project.  Grant Amount/Period:  up to $1000/1 year.  Matching required.  Contact: Bethany Hawkins, 615-320-3203, hawkins@aaslh.org

National Trust Preservation Funds
Deadline: October 1, 2013
National Trust Preservation Funds provide assistance to non-profit organizations and public agencies that are members of the National Trust at the Forum or Main Street levels. Grants may assist preservation planning and educational efforts. Grant Amount/Period: $2500-5,000/maximum 3 grants per two year grant cycle. Matching required 1:1. Peter Grant Preservation Fund for Colorado
Deadline:  October 1, 2012
Peter Grant Preservation Fund grants are awarded to preserve historic places in Colorado.  Grants may be used to sponsor preservation conferences and workshops; acquire historically-significant sites/buildings; and preserve designated historic sites and structures.  Grant Amount/Period: $1000-10,000/maximum of 3 grants per two year period. Southwest Intervention Fund
Deadline: October 1, 2013  
The Southwest Intervention Fund is intended to further preservation efforts for significant sites in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, West Texas, and Utah.  The fund provides support for preservation planning and is meant to enable prompt response to emergencies and opportunities in eligible states.  Actions aimed at direct intervention to save historic and cultural sites are eligible.  Grant Amount/Period:  generally $2500-10,000/maximum of 3 grants per two year period. Peter H. Brink Leadership Fund

The Peter H. Brink Leadership Fund helps to build the capacity of existing preservation organizations with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. These grants encourage collaboration and peer-to-peer mentoring among members of the historic preservation community. Grant Amount/Period: up to $1500/1 year. Contact National Trust Grants Office:  202-588-6277, grants@savingplaces.org

Emergency/Intervention Funding
Deadline: ongoing 
Emergency/Intervention Funds are awarded in emergency situations when immediate and unanticipated work is needed to save a historic structure, such as when fire or some other natural disaster strikes.
